One day, a seven-year old student excitedly shared her origami creations with me. She had brought them into class specifically to see if we could use them in a creative project. Inspired by her enthusiasm for origami, I thought it would be really cool if we could create an animated world out of origami! Together, we curated her paper pieces to form the shape of a wolf and then using an iPhone camera, we made a quick stop-motion of the origami wolf moving through a field of snow. Afterwards, I imported our stop-motion into an app called Procreate where I added digital elements and polished up our work. It's always so exciting to transform our work from one medium into another! Original song, "flickerings" by Madeleine Green.
